Taylor Lautner becomes a father and welcomes his first child

He revealed his and wife Tay Lautner’s baby girl was born on September 16

Twilight star Taylor Lautner has become a father and welcomed his first child.

The 34-year-old, best known for starring in the vampire franchise, revealed his and wife Tay Lautner’s baby girl, Lennon Taylor Lautner was born on September 16.

The couple shared a joint post on Instagram on Wednesday, with the caption: “One week loving our sweet little Lenny.”

The pair got married in November 2022.

They announced the pregnancy in March with an Instagram post captioned “what’s better than two Taylor Lautners?”.

Lautner is best known for his role as werewolf Jacob Black in the Twilight saga films opposite Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

He has also starred in movies such as Valentine’s Day (2010) and The Adventures Of Sharkboy And Lavagirl In 3-D (2006).

On TV, he has had roles in BBC sitcom Cuckoo and US dark comedy series Scream Queens, and he also appeared as a robber in the video for pop superstar Taylor Swift’s 2023 song I Can See You.

He also co-hosts the mental health and wellbeing podcast The Squeeze, alongside his wife – who is a trained nurse.
