WATCH: Molly Sterling’s first Eurovision rehearsal

The 17-year-old wasted no time in getting on stage and showing the Austrian capital what she can do.

Secondary school student Molly Sterling has packed her bag and left for Vienna to prepare for next week's Eurovision semi-final competition.

The 17-year-old was chosen by a public vote to represent Ireland in the 60th year of the infamous competition with her song Playing With Numbers.

And practice makes perfect as she wasted no time in getting on stage and showing the Austrian capital what she can do.

She has also been chatting to press around the world, who have been quick to dub the Tipperary native as Ireland’s sweetheart.
