Paris Jackson is all grown up and celebrating two years of sobriety
You might remember our first glimpse of Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris Jackson from her emotional words at his funeral in 2009.
She was just 11 years old.
Paris is now 17, and just under a week ago she posted this photo to her Instagram account to commemorate her two years' sobriety.
“I am so proud to say that I am officially two years sober! Thank you to everyone that helped get me stay on track, including my inspirations. stay safe,” the caption to the photo read.
In 2013, it was reported that Paris had attempted suicide multiple times and spent the next year and a half away from the spotlight at a treatment center in Utah.
Judging by her recent instagram posts, the teenager looks happy and healthy and today she posted this photo confirming her first serious relationship with American soccer-player Chester Castellaw.
Sporting fiery red highlights and a rock-chick look, she’s far from the little girl we remember her as.
