Britney's ankle gives way on stage

Britney Spears has fallen on stage in Las Vegas and injured her ankle forcing her to reschedule two shows.

Video shot by an audience member on Wednesday shows Spears kicking and high-stepping on high-heels during her single (You Drive Me) Crazy before her left ankle gives way.

She went on Twitter to thank her fans for their well wishes, saying she “had a little scare on stage tonight with my ankle but I’m ok!” – however, she will need to rest.

The Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino where Spears performs her Britney: Piece Of Me show said the star’s doctor recommended she take two days off to heal.

So her shows tonight and tomorrow have been rescheduled.
