The Hoff is back and he’s brought the 80s with him.

Ultimate 80s icon David Hasselhoff has released a brand new music video complete with karate moves, fiery special effects, a classic sports car, a mullet and dinosaurs - yes, dinosaurs.

The former Baywatch babe released the song titled True Survivor on Thursday in conjunction with the upcoming movie, Kung Fury.

The movie which was funded by a Kickstarter campaign is a mashup of '80s cop movies, kung-fu action, comedy and time travel.

But what about the dinosaurs?

Speaking about the new release The Hoff said: "The 80s was about fun, action, and heroes. Kung Fury has it all! The song is perfect for me as I really am, in real life, a True Survivor.”
