The Corrs reunite for father’s funeral

Sharon, Caroline, Andrea and Jim Corr reunited musically today for the first time in 10 years, in an emotional tribute to their late father Gerry Corr.

The famous family lost their father last Thursday due to an illness.

The band, who last performed together in 2005, played a range of traditional Irish airs including the Minstrel Boy at his requiem Mass today in Dundalk.

Two poems written by their father Gerry were also read out, one he had written recalling his relationship with their mother, Jean, who died at the age of 57.

A wreath also arrived signed by U2 stars Bono, Larry, Adam and The Edge.
