Paul Rudd to guest star on Moone Boy

Turns out Chris O’Dowd wasn’t just playing a cruel April Fool’s joke on us after all.

Hollywood star Paul Rudd is really set to appear on this Monday's episode of Moone Boy.

The 45-year-old has appeared in numerous blockbuster movies and TV shows such as Anchorman, The 40-year-old Virign and famously playing Phoebe's husband Mike Hannigan in Friends.

O'Dowd first teased the news on Twitter this week, but of course we didn’t believe the Bridesmaid star due to the day that was it in - April 1.

But the joke was on us.

“No foolin' folks,” Chris tweeted shortly after attaching this picture of himself, Paul and the show's screenwriter Nick Vincent Murphy.

Just your standard day in Boyle then.

Rudd will appear in the final episode of the third series of Moone Boy, which airs on Sky 1 on Monday April 6 at 9.00pm.
