Ryan Gosling and Saoirse Ronan attended SXSW (an annual music, film, and interactive conference and festival held in Austin, Texas) at the weekend to promote their newest movie Lost River.

Their Q and A session was interrupted by a member of the audience, who revealed that she wanted to pop the question to her girlfriend of eleven years.

"I think your film was amazing, and I'm going to kind of take away from [it for] a second if I can, and ask my girlfriend of eleven years if she'll marry me," the audience member said.

"We got a marriage proposal going on here," Ryan immediately told the rest of the crowd before rushing forward and offering her his microphone, while Saoirse Ronan jumped with excitement.
