Producer Clarkson 'punched' is Irish

Today, the producer has been named as 36-year-old Irishman Oisin Tymon.

Today, according to Herald, the producer has been named as 36-year-old Irishman Oisin Tymon.

It is claimed the host, 54, saw red with Tymon for not getting him his dinner on time after filming for the BBC show in Newcastle.

A source close to the show said: "It was all over a catering issue. Jeremy just saw red and hit the producer, who he blamed for not having organised the food.

"Jeremy had a massive bust-up with one of the male show producers and he ended up smacking him in the face. Everyone was absolutely stunned."

It is understood that Oisin has worked on the widely popular show for a decade.
