Amy Poehler is coming to Dublin this weekend and people are upset
Comedic genius Amy Poehler is gracing the streets of Dublin this weekend to attend a special event hosted by Trinity College’s Philosophical Society.
The actress, who is best known for her roles in Parks and Recreation and SNL, has been awarded with the University Society’s Gold Medal of Honorary Patronage and will accept it on the grounds on the college this Friday.
However, the pre-ticketed event is limited to Trinity College students past and present - who are part of the society (or have been in the past four years) and hold a valid membership card.
And let’s just say these terms and conditions have not gone down too well with the people of the interwebs:
Amy Poehler is speaking at Trinity next week. That's the only reason I ever wished I had studied more during the Leaving.

Some people are even going as far as asking for the floor plan to the Graduates Memorial Building (where the event is taking place).
Although nothing is confirmed as of yet, we wouldn't be surprised if Tubs has a very special guest on either this Friday or next Friday’s Late Late Show.
Fingers, toes and legs crossed!
Meanwhile, here's a reminder of why she deserves all the awards.
