First look: Christina Aguilera's baby girl

Christina Aguilera has shared the first photo of her baby daughter online.

The 'Fighter' hitmaker gave birth to Summer Rain - her first child with fiance Matthew Rutler - on August 16 but it has taken until this weekend for fans to get a glimpse at the little girl.

The picture is of baby Summer wearing a bright pink dress and white pants bearing the slogan 'Lil Diva'.

The 34-year-old singer - who also has seven-year-old son Max from her marriage to Jordan Bratman - recently admitted she is a very different person when at home with her kids to when she is performing on stage.

"When I'm home, I'm in my sweatpants getting cosy with my children. There are two sides to me; the person who will cuddle in bed and sing my kids to sleep and the persona who goes out onstage - the extrovert and the artist. It's important for me to express that side of myself," she said.

There aren't as many opportunities, but I make sure to get dressed up and be glamorous. Whether I add some eye make-up, wear a special fragrance or try a fun new nail colour - anything feminine and sexy."
