Since the news emerged yesterday that full time Youtuber Zoella received help writing her top selling novel ‘Girl Online’, she has announced that she is taking a break from the Internet - along with her fellow Youtuber boyfriend Alfie Deyes.

Zoe tweeted fans yesterday to clear up the ghostwriting rumours, but fans were not convinced.

This pushed Zoe to take a few days ‘on airplane mode’ along with Alfie.

Who doesn't love a few days off?

The decision sent the interwebs into a Zalfie craze (the couple's nickname) and forced them to defend themselves further on Twitter.

Earlier this year Zoe took to her second Youtube channel - morezoella - to express the how overwhelming her everyday life can be and to reveal to her fans that she sometimes found her new found fame difficult to deal with.

Fellow Youtubers such as Louise aka SprinkleofGlitter have tweeted in support of the pair and their combined 4.5m Twitter followers have seen #weloveyouzoeandalfie trend worldwide since the news broke yesterday.
