Real-life Elsa comes to Dublin

Idina Menzel has announced Dublin dates.

The real life Elsa - Idina Menzel - has just released her European tour dates and we have made the cut. The star will perform in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, Dublin on June 20 of next year.

Although most recently heard as Elsa in Disney’s global smash hit Frozen, Idina also has a die-hard musical theatre following from debuting the role of Elphaba in the musical Wicked.

The Broadway singer made history this year as the first person with both a Billboard Top 10 and a Tony Award for acting and can currently be seen on Broadway as Elizabeth in the original production If/Then, for which she earned her third Tony nomination.

Though wickedly talented and critical acclaimed wordwide we just hope no-one will follow in John Travolta's footsteps and introduce her to the stage as "The one and only Adele Dazeem."
