Hugh Jackman finally shaves that beard

Going … Going … Gone.

We have been cringing with the sight of Hugh Jackman's beard/moustache for months now, and yesterday he finally took the plunge and went for the close shave.

The actor has been sporting some serious facial hair for his role of Blackbeard in the upcoming movie Pan.

Here’s a little reminder:

Dressed in a stylish barber's gown he captured the moment via his Instagram account.

And captioned "Merci!! My Moroccan barber. Until next time. #startingfrombald #Summer2014"

The shaving marked the end of filming for Pan - which is set to be released on July 17, 2015.
