'Game of Thrones' among six nominated for prestigious BAFTA

The fantasy series 'Game of Thrones', some of which is filmed in the North, is up for the Radio Times Audience Award at this year's Arqiva British Academy Television Awards (BAFTAs).

BBC period drama 'Call the Midwife', 'Strictly Come Dancing', 'The Great British Bake Off', US drama 'Homeland' and last year's coverage of the London 2012 Olympic opening ceremony are also up for prestigious prize following a "sensational" year of TV.
