Cowell to launch online global talent search

TV and music mogul Simon Cowell is to launch a global talent search - online - allowing people to show off their remarkable skills.

The X Factor boss's company Syco is teaming up with YouTube for the "You Generation" contest - expected to launch in late March.

The talent search is expected to last for a year.

There'll be prizes - which have yet to be announced - every 2 weeks and an overall winner at the end of the year.
