Nathan O'Regan counts days to EP release

Singer-songwriter Nathan O'Regan is counting the days to the March 1 digital release of his 'Long Way Down' EP, and celebrating being playlisted on Radio 1.

It's all looking rather bright for the 20-year-old from Iniscarra in Co Cork, who is signed to Universal Records.

At the moment, Nathan is working on his live set and getting a band together. He counts Jackson Browne, Tom Waits, and Bruce Springsteen as his influences.

He got his break by taking part ion a competition on 2FM, where he was spotted by a manager and soon signed to Universal.

"When it came to the music industry I didn’t really know what to expect...I did a fair amount of Googling!" he says.
