Brand lets go of protective Perry instinct

Russell Brand has "let go" of the urge to protect Katy Perry.

The couple split in December 2011 after 14 months of marriage and though the British comic thinks his former spouse is "perfect", he doesn't want to interfere with her new relationship with infamous womaniser John Mayer.
