Timberlake and Biel tie knot in Italy

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have tied the knot in Italy.

In a statement given to America's People magazine, the couple said the ceremony was beautiful and it was special to be surrounded by their family and friends.

"It's great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends," the couple said.

Timberlake, 31, and 30-year-old Biel announced their engagement in December after dating for several years.

People magazine said it would run details and exclusive photos in next week's print edition.
