'Geordie Shore' is getting two new cast members for its fourth series.

Producers have recruited two new beefcakes for the show - known only by their first names, Dan Thomas-Tuck and Scott Timlin - who are keen to fit in with the established cast and to try their luck with the ladies.

Referring to show regular Gary Beadle, Scott said: "Gary says he has a degree in pulling women - well, I've got a PhD.

"He's got competition for the birds with us single lads coming into this series."

Describing himself, Dan added to The Sun newspaper: "I don't care what anyone thinks of me. I'm quite loud and I can be a bit irritating when I'm drunk, but I don't care."

The new lads will replace Jay Gardner and Rebecca Walker, who have left the show after its recent stint in Cancun, Mexico.

Muscleman Jay says he quit the show because he is settling down with his new girlfriend and is worried staying on the programme - where alcohol and girls are on tap - would be too tempting.

He friend said: "Jay is sad to leave all his friends from the show behind but his future is with his new love."

The fourth season of 'Geordie Shore' will air from November 8 on MTV.
