It has been revealed that prices for audience tickets, which are given out for free, can fetch extortionate prices on the black market.

One tout told RTÉ's Kevin McGahern that tickets to Winning Streak go for up to €500, while passes for the Ray D'Arcy Show can fetch as much as a bag of Skittles.

Late Late Toy Show tickets, however, earn the illegal sellers the most money.

"Imagine if Beyonce got through to the All-Ireland final. Double that," he told McGahern.

The footage below shows the ringleader of the Toy Council of Ireland (TCI), Mr Rufflebutt, being confronted by gardaí after being filmed offering two tickets to the Toy Show for €5,000.
