Someone has crocheted a giant blanket with Hillary Clinton's face

Politicians are often rumoured to have spun a few yarns and Hillary Clinton is no stranger to the rumour mill herself.

However, this yarn has been spun into a hot-pink tribute to the US presidential race hopeful.

Polish-American artist Olek is known for her work with yarn and has stitched a billboard-sized blanket of Hillary Clinton’s face with the hashtag #ImWithHer.

According to the New Yorker, Olek crocheted the piece with the help of 38 volunteers and said: "This is my gift to Hillary".

The magazine reports that it took 794,880 stiches in less than four weeks to complete.

Phew.

Olkek told the New Yorker: "Hillary might not be cool, but she is qualified, experienced, and competent. Yeah, I don’t want to hang out with her. I don’t want to drink beer with her. I don’t want to go dancing all night with her. But I want her to be our President."

The piece was unveiled on Route 139 in New Jersey over the weekend.
