The O’Donovan brothers might have won Olympic silver medals, but it is clear that their Nana has won the hearts of the nation after her performance on The Late Late Show last night.

Ryan Tubridy asked the boys permission to meet their nana before seeking her out in the crowd,giving her a quick peck on the cheek and sitting down alongside her for a chat.

After a few minutes it was clear where the Olympic rowers get their witty charm as Nana O’Donovan was full of praise for her two grandsons and full of warning for any woman who might be considering her chances with the young athletes.
