89-year-old places personal ad to find 25-year-old grandson a wife

One 89-year-old is trying to find the perfect match for their grandson.

A personal ad in Ireland's Own magazine is calling out to a woman who may be interested in a "handsome, clever" 25-year-old.

The ad was titled Sydney Calling and reads:

" My grandson is 25yrs, handsome, clever, gsoh [good sense of humour] , works (European/Irish/UK) wife wanted for him with photo.

Must be moral, loving, kind, want large family, love, happiness, want him settled I'm now 89yrs."

The ad was shared on Twitter by Darragh Doyle who posed an important question.
