Cork wakeboarder rides the floods in epic video

The floods are obviously a nightmare for most but for some, it’s just another opportunity to have some craic.

Wakeboarder David O’Caoimh and a mate headed down to the Lee Fields outside Cork City yesterday where the river had burst its banks. And David took advantage of the extra surface water - and got some class footage out of it too.

Using a winch and a wakeboard, David gets up to speeds of 17mph and is able to pull off some seriously impressive stunts in the unusual location.
