This brave man took a photo of his wife mid-labour and it went viral

Redditor gilsolano12 clearly likes to live dangerously.

His wife was in labour yesterday and had asked that he document the joyous moment. And we’re pretty sure that didn’t include posting it on the internet.

But he did with the caption:

"My wife wanted to make sure that someone took a picture of the expression on our faces when our daughter was born today. So I took one."

And the resulting (brilliant) photo has gone viral - it’s been viewed over 2.3 million times.

And while you wouldn’t blame his wife for being peeved that such a personal moment has now been viewed by a bunch of internet strangers, her husband says she thought it was gas:

"I actually took this pic to send to her brothers who kept asking how it was going. I showed it to her in between pushes and she cracked up. Now I’m reading her all of you guys comments while she feeds our healthy 7lb 6 oz girl. P.S. Her mom took pics of our reactions 10 mins later :)"

One for the Christmas card, then!
