McDonald's are trying out a new snack and it looks delicious

A friend of a friend told us that they heard a rumour on twitter, that McDonald’s are shaking up all sorts of tricks to raise declining sales.

It seems silly to think of the monster McDonald’s being worried about their popularity, but apparently people just aren’t lovin’ it like they used to at the fast food joint.

That is of course, until now.

McDonald’s are about to unveil a new snack in their Texas stores that we predict will be a huge success if it makes it to these parts.

Most people are aware of sweet potato chips and the tasty treat they can be.

Our thinking on them is that they are a bit of an artisan snack so imagine our surprise to hear they are being trialed in McDonald’s.

Sure, it might be a McDonald’s all the way across the sea but the chances are that these treats catch on and the sweet potato chip will soon be on its way to Ireland for our consumption.

Keep those fingers and toes crossed because this is one convenience food we need to get in our local McDonald’s and the sooner the better.

In the mean time we will just have to make do with making our own homemade version -or settling for twisty fries at McDonald’s, it all depends on how lazy you feel!
