Alan Partridge’s TV concept finally gets a trailer – starring Chris Eubank!

’Youth Hostelling with Chris Eubank’ has just become a reality!

The TV concept, one of many pitched by the desperate BBC presenter on ’I’m Alan Partridge’, has finally been given a trailer by Hostel World, and it is quite magnificent.

Chris Eubank has spent 18 years listening to youth hostelling references but only got the joke after it was explained to him on Twitter 10 days ago…

Eubank said: "Up until recently, I had absolutely no idea why people used to mention hostels to me and smile. It was truly an unsolved mystery to me.

"’Youth Hostelling with Chris Eubank’ has now become a reality and finally, albeit a little embarrassed and ashamed, I’m in on the joke 18 years after Alan Partridge pitched it!"
