PIC: A cat owner in Wicklow was given bad news in a very public forum

It looks like some unfortunate cat owner in Killincarrig, Co Wicklow recently found out their pet had been hit by a car and killed.

To significantly add to the trauma, they may have found out by way of a poster on the roadside.

Reddit user countpissedoff posted this picture on the site yesterday, showing the sign someone put up to deliver the bad news.

Oh no…..

We can totally understand why the sign-writer did it - it’s awful to have days and weeks tick by while you wait for your pet to return home and wonder what has happened.

Anyone who has experienced that dwindling hope would want to put a fellow animal-lover out of their misery.

But, that is harsh.

What a way to find out.
