WATCH: Pilot pulls off brilliant emergency landing live on TV

A pilot in California has pulled off an emergency landing that will renew your faith in the skill of all pilots.

The small plane had been on its way to Camarillo, California when it experienced a problem with the landing gear, forcing it to turn back to Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles.

You can clearly see the landing gear problem (on the front wheel) as the plane comes in, but the pilot is having none of it and pulls off the landing expertly.
