WATCH: Guy pulls off epic cinema proposal to childhood sweetheart

Aussie Liam Cooper decided he would go big or go home when it came to proposing to his long-time girlfriend Amy Smith.

He took his girlfriend on what seemed like a normal double-date with her sister and his brother-in-law, however Liam excused himself to go to the 'bathroom' and from there a video package started to play.

Liam, along with some of the couple's friends, went through a painstaking process to make their version of the video to the smash hit Rude by Magic!. With the help of Amy's dad, we think you'll agree the whole thing is a hell of an effort.

Of course Amy said yes! (How could she not after all that.)

To top things off Liam managed to get Magic! to record a message for Amy and given that the message was recorded around last Christmas, that will tell you how much time Liam spent planning.

We hope they have a happy life together.
