Irish Twitter users can’t get enough of #FirstShiftStreetView

Irish Twitter user @gr00se was roaming her home area on Google Maps and stumbled across an idea that Irish people on the social network seemed to love.

@gr00se posted a street view picture of the place where her first kiss took place and a Twitter sensation was born.

#FirstShiftStreetView was born and Irish users took to Twitter in their droves to post pictures - using Google Maps Street View - of where their first kisses happened.

Wastelands, schools, behind buildings and even churches all feature prominently as people seemed to fondly reminisce on their first romance encounters.
