Australian cricket team calls in to radio after drinking all night in World Cup celebration
They had a bit of a celebration last night - and were still going this morning after a of a session. With a few drinks in them, the team called in to Tasmania's Heart 107.3 to talk to the Dave & Kylie breakfast show.
Team members George Bailey, James Faulkner, Shaun Marsh, Steve Smith and coach Darren Lehmann took to breakfast radio amid roars of laughter from their hotel rooftop bash.
"We're on, we're live! We're going live! Mate I am, I am, I am … Dave, I've always looked after you, but tonight, I'm ... [interruption] Today? This morning!"
Coach Darren Lehman was on hand to make sure they had a good time without going over-the-top.
"I'm guessing none of you guys have been to bed?" Kylie asked the team. "Yeah, look, sometimes you just have to do that. It's not every day you win a World Cup for Australia ... the boys are making the most of it!"

Even professional sports teams can cut loose once every four years. We're sure Ireland will do much the same ifwhen we win the rugby World Cup this year.
