VIDEO: What happens when you add milk to Coca Cola

Here’s a science experiment you can try at home. But, if this video’s anything to go by, we’re not really sure that you would want to.

In the video, Maricv 84 demonstrates what happens when you add some milk to a bottle of Coca Cola.

The phosphoric acid in the Coca Cola reacts with the proteins in the milk which causes the separating into a clear liquid and brown sludge.

It's pretty gross-looking.

Actually, we wouldn't bother trying this at home, all you'll do is ruin a perfectly good bottle of Coke.
