’The West Wing’ stars reunite for (real) Big Block of Cheese Day

The cast of The West Wing, Aaron Sorkin's beloved political White House drama, reunited this week to shoot promotional video for something pulled straight from the series - Big Block of Cheese Day.

The Big Block of Cheese was an annual event in the West Wing, an obsession of Chief of Staff Leo McGarry (played by the late John Spencer). We'll let him explain:

"Andrew Jackson, in the main foyer of the White House, had a big block of cheese…"

The White House - the realWhite House - loved the idea (or at least, someone like Leo did) that ordinary citizens could contact staff members directly, and last year, they ran with it.

So, with a little PR help from the fictional White House crew, they're running an online version of ask the white house.

Here's the result, complete with cheesypuns.

There's Josh (Bradley Whitford), Toby (Richard Schiff), CJ (Allison Janney), Will (Joshua Malina), Charlie (Dulé Hill), Kate Harper (Mary McCormack) and, of course, President Bartlet (Martin Sheen).

But where the hell is Donna (Janel Moloney)?
