Caoimhe, Blathnaid, Daithí, Saoirse, Méabh, Oisín, Áine - while we should rightly be proud of our heritage, our unique names can lead to some mangled pronunciation from both foreigners and natives alike.
And who can blame them? Sometimes the spelling looks like we're just making it up for a laugh.
