This entire neighbourhood synced up their Christmas lights

Now here’s a special Christmas light show. The residents of Yucaipa, California, got together to rig an entire neighbourhood’s Christmas lights together - and sync them to Maria Carey.

The result is, quite frankly, brilliant.

Jeff Maxey uploaded this video yesterday to showcase the impressive effort of his neighbourhood - using a small quadrotor drone to capture the show from the air.

It's great to see everyone get on board to spread some Christmas cheer - except that guy in the lower right corner. He's missing out.

Jeff also uploaded his first daytime test - the rockin' Wizards of Winter by the Tran-Siberian Orchestra, which was also the subject of the vintage 2005 video that started this craze.

Santa hats off, folks. I can barely string the lights together on the tree without having a mental breakdown.
