VIDEO: Yacht worth $21m gets hit by drawbridge

A yacht worth $21m was being towed into Bay Harbor Islands, Florida when it suffered a rather unfortunate and costly mishap.

The 'Rockstar' - which costs almost a quarter of a million dollars to charter - was being brought in from some high winds and .

As it was making its way into harbour you can see the drawbridge slowly start to close.

The bridge then agonisingly slams into the roof of the expensive craft causing thousands in damage.

To make matters worse the bridge is due for refurbishment next month - and then the town manager has the cheek to describe it as the "perfect storm" of events!

The town is investigating how the accident happened.
