Man flees police car chase on skateboard, it does not go well

A suspect led police on a 90mph car chase around Los Angeles and then decided to channel famous skateboarder Tony Hawk to top it all off.

The suspect was forced to flee his car after rear-ending another vehicle and then amazingly grabbed a long skateboard out of the passenger's seat.

Now we don't know how he we thought it would go (maybe the coolest escape ever), but he doesn't even manage five feet on the board.

To add to the drama he is then collared by a former reality TV star.

Only in Hollywood eh?
