One star from the latest season of The Traitors Ireland is swapping her cloak for the couch this week by joining Gogglebox Ireland with her family.

Viewers of tonight’s episode will meet Carla at home in Ballymun with her partner Chloe, her brother Craig, and his partner Jahrea.

"I'm absolutely buzzing,” Carla said. “Gogglebox is one of my favourite shows, so I'm actually honoured to be sitting on the sofa, alongside my brother and my partner and my pal Jahrea, and I'm really looking forward to it."

Unsurprisingly, Carla is keeping a close eye on Celebrity Traitors UK, though she and Chloe are usually drawn to crime and drama, with Chicago PD and SWAT among their favourite programmes.

Meanwhile, Jahrea, is a devoted Friends fan, while football-loving Craig counts The Inbetweeners as his all-time favourite show.

This week on Gogglebox Ireland, the households tune into shows such as Ireland AM for a Viennetta-eating challenge, watch Netflix's newest reality competition Wonka: Golden Ticket, and react to troubling scenes of civil unrest in Belfast in Blue Lights.

Gogglebox Ireland season 12 continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media PLAY and Virgin Media One.
