'The Traitors' final FAQ: Who is left in the game, what are the outcomes and what time is it on?

Tensions are high right across the country ahead of the final of The Traitors Ireland on Tuesday night. 

And then there were five.

The penultimate episode of The Traitors Ireland aired on Monday night and saw Wilkin murdered and Faye banished, leaving just five finalists out of a starting cast of 24 contestants to battle it out for the prize money.

The knives came out at the round table during Monday night’s tense and emotional episode, with Faye left feeling “attacked” and betrayed by the remaining contestants, some of whom she said thought she could trust.

But as tensions rise and the contestants draw ever closer to winning the prize money, backstabbing is the name of the game at Slane Castle, and nobody is safe.

On Monday night’s episode, Ben, Kelley, Nick, Oyin and Vanessa sat down together for a banquet and shared what winning would mean to them and their families, their stories leading to shared tears and collective support for one another.

Just five out of the starting cast of 24 contestants will battle it out for the prize money on Tuesday night.

But trying to strip themselves of any emotion are the traitors Ben and Nick, who are up against the three remaining faithfuls, Kelley, Oyin and Vanessa in tonight’s grand decider.

The rules are that multiple faithfuls can win together but a single faithful cannot win alone. Multiple traitors can also win together, but if the final two or three come down to a mix of faithfuls and traitor(s), the traitor(s) will steal all of the prize pot.

Can the brothers in arms Ben and Nick bring it over the line and take home the cash? Or will their conscience get the better of them and will the faithfuls come out victorious?

The Traitors Ireland has gripped the nation over the past three weeks, becoming the talking point in workplaces, schools, colleges and homes.

Tensions are high right across the country ahead of the final, with people taking to social media to portray just how much they are anticipating the final episode, as well as what outfit host Siobhán McSweeney will be rocking tonight.

Tonight’s episode airs at 9.35 pm on RTÉ One and on the RTÉ Player, and is followed by The Traitors Ireland: Uncloaked.
