The Handmaid's Tale (RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player) is back on form. After five seasons where it had started to amble around looking for a purpose, the story of June Osborne on the run from the forces of Gilead has found its focus again. And that focus is the bond between mother and child.
The long recap at the start of the first episode sets it up nicely.
