Dancing with the Stars recap: Mickey Joe Harte says he is 'so disappointed' as first celeb to depart

Mickey Joe Harte has become the first celebrity to leave this year's
competition.ÂThe 'We've Got The World' singer scored 28 points for his foxtrot this week, which the judges agreed had been his best performance to date.
âI am going to christen you a ballroom dancer. You have a beautiful frame. You moved wonderfully," head judge Loraine Barry had commented.Â
Departing the dancefloor for the final time, the singer-songwriter who shot to fame as the first winner of
said he was "really disappointed" for his partner Daniella Roze."It's one of those things," he commented. "It's her first year and she worked really hard to get me to this level."

It was a bad night too forÂ
presenter Elaine Crowley. Viewers were told she smashed her salsa in the dress rehearsal but was let down by a mistake halfway through her routine during the live show."I made such a mess of it," Crowley said as she awaited judges comments.
"I saw your dress rehearsal, you nailed it... so I understand your disappointment," Barry said, while judge Karen Byrne admonished Crowley for being "so hard" on herself.
âDonât be so disappointed," she said. "You made a mistake, you kept going. Be proud of yourself.â She scored 20.
Content creator Kayleigh Trappe, who opened the show with a cha cha cha to Sabrina Carpenter's 'Espresso', also had a disappointing night with the judges saying her performance fell "flat." But, she still added 24 to the leaderboard.
Kevin Dundon's quickstep earned him just 18 points, and had him bottom of the leaderboard again, but some positive feedback from the judges.
"It was quite dapper in places," judge Brian Redmond said.

Meteorologist Joanna Donnelly melted the judges with her waltz last week, but back doing Latin again, the score dipped once more.
She added 19 to the leaderboard, with Byrne saying, "at times you were ahead of the music.
However, the former pro-dancer said she could really see a difference in Donnelly's confidence.
âWeek one, you were terrified,â she said, but now she was in the middle of the dancefloor âgetting the crowd goingâ.
On the other end of the leaderboard, pageant queen Aishah Akorede impressed with a dramatic Tango to TikTok favourite 'I Like the Way You Kiss Me'.Â
Gourounlian called it "absolutely fierce" while Byrne said she was "captivated" from the beginning. She scored 30.

Olympic gold medallist Rhys McClenaghan also earned a sweet 30 points for his cha cha cha.Â
âYou did a fabulous technical job,â Redmond said, but added, âwhat I want is a little bit more of that fire.."
Danny O'Carroll was complimented by the panel for his work ethic, but his jive failed to impress as much as his Charleston last week.
âIt was lacking a little bit in the accuracy,â Barry noted. He scored 24.

Comedian GearĂłid Farrelly, however, improved on last week's performance with the judges awarding him 30 for his Viennese Waltz to R.E.M.'s 'Everybody Hurts.'
âThe flow, power, movement... It was exactly what weâre looking for from a Vinesse waltz," Redmond commented.Â
"It wasn't just dance, it was a moment," Gourounlian added.
And
actress Yasmin Seky had her best week to date, topping the leaderboard with 36 points for her Charleston.ÂâGreat energy, great lifts,â Redmond said. Gourounlian added: âIâve been waiting for you to have a moment... and this was it.â

Olympic Taekwondo star Jack Woolley ended his night with 33 for the scoreboard.Â
"The energy was great, the timing crystal clear," Redmond commented. We reckon he's the one to watch.
