Irish singer-songwriter Una Healy is set to appear in Netflix’s Celebrity Bear Hunt, which will premiere on the streaming platform next month.

The Tipperary woman who rose to fame in 2008 as a member of the five-piece girl band The Saturdays will be put through her paces by none other than survival expert Bear Grylls.

Healy will appear alongside model and TV host Leomie Anderson, Spice Girl Mel B, ballroom champion and TV judge Shirley Ballas, 3x Wimbledon champion Boris Becker, actor Kola Bokinni, former International Rugby Union player Danny Cipriani, TV chef and rapper Zuhair Hassan (AKA Big Zuu), interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, TV presenter and journalist Steph McGovern, model Lottie Moss and actor Joe Thomas.

The action-packed competition show hosted by Holly Willoughby will see the cast of unlikely celebrities dropped into the Central American jungle as prey for one of the world's most fearsome predators – Bear Grylls.

As Bear puts them through their paces, those who fail to impress will face the dreaded ‘Bear Hunt’ – a brutal game of cat and mouse where they’ll be hunted down by Bear himself and, if captured, face elimination from the show.

Celebrity Bear Hunt will stream on Netflix on Wednesday, February 5.
