The Joe Rogan Podcast served Trump up to the angry-young-man crowd, but will that fly here in Ireland?

“Podcasts are the new battleground state,” declared Nick Quah, a critic at the website Vulture, following Donald Trump’s appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience in the final weeks of the US presidential campaign.

 We all know how that election turned out and have seen any number of prognostications on Rogan’s influence on the vote - he also talked with Trump’s vice president pick JD Vance and Elon Musk in the week leading up to the election.
