Roy Keane and Snow Patrol among summer gigs coming to Cork next year
Snow Patrol and Roy Keane are among the dates announced for next summer in Cork
Update: Due to demand, an extra date for Roy Keane in conversation with award-winning author Roddy Doyle has been added. Tickets for July 9 will be on sale on November 14.Ā
The first two dates, July 7 and 8, have now sold out.Ā
A number of outdoor gigs have just been announced for summer 2025, including a huge Cork show from Snow Patrol and a special event at the Marquee.Ā
The Northern Irish rock band will play Musgrave Park on June 19, as part of their UK and Ireland tour.
The tour sees Gary Lightbody, Nathan Connolly and Johnny McDaid come to Dublinās 3Arena and Belfastās SSE Arena in February, before making their way to Cork in June and heading north once again for a show in Belfast Belsonic.
It comes as the band releases their eight studio album, , six years after their previous record ā 2018ās .
Lightbody described their new release as āthe biggest sounding record we have ever madeā, and it has been called an āalbum of contrastsā.
The announcement follows Snow Patrolās return last summer, with shows in Belgium and Thomond Park Stadium, Limerick, where they played a sold-out show to 30,000 fans.
Tickets for the Cork show are priced at ā¬69.90 inclusive of booking fee and go on sale at 10am this Friday, November 8.
Meanwhile, two Live at the Marquee events have been announced on Monday.

Irish football legend Roy Keane will join award-winning author Roddy Doyle for a special in-conversation event at the Marquee on July 7.
The pair first came together to work on Keaneās bestselling memoir, Ā in 2014 and will now reunite at the Marquee.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am.
Irish folk trio Amble have also announced a show.Ā
The groupās 2025 world tour includes a Live at the Marquee, Cork, date on July 17.
Tickets will also go on sale on Friday but at 10am.
Elsewhere, British singer-songwriter RAYE has announced her biggest Irish headline show to date at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham.
The six-time BRIT Award winner will take to the stage on August 22 next year.
If youāre looking for plans this side of Christmas, The Sharon Shannon Big Band will host a tribute to the late Shane MacGowan in Dublinās National Concert Hall on December 7.
Special guests for the evening include Imelda May, Camille OāSullivan, Liam OāMaonlai, Mundy and Cait OāRiordan.
