First Dates Ireland: Leona and William

And here we are, the finale of First Dates' ninth series, and it is as entertaining an episode as ever. When Leona states her date William "is too good looking for her," this reviewer wants to crawl into the television and shake some sense into her. Yes, he bears a resemblance to Matt Smith, but our lovely hair stylist from the Meath/Cavan border is well-matched as a fellow cat lover. Leona is a single mom to rescue feline Merlin, who is somewhat fat-shamed by a horrified William upon seeing a visual. "What are you feeding him?" William asks, but thankfully Leona laughs off this swipe at her baby and entertains a second date with the dapper Dub.
