After his hives are destroyed by imported and invasive non-native bees Connemara beekeeper Paddy Ó Fiannachta and islander John O'Halloran create a sanctuary on Inishbofin island in an effort to protect the native Irish honey bee.

Four faces from Bake Off's past will be battling it out to be named 2024's first Star Baker, each determined to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith one last time. Maxy Maligisa from 2022, the class of 2021's Jurgen Krauss and Maggie Richardson, and Mark Lutton, who competed in 2020, are the competitors.

Attenborough and the Giant Sea Monster

David Attenborough’s latest project sees him travel to Dorset, a place well known as a fossil-hunter's paradise, and where the giant skull of a pliosaur (the Tyrannosaurus rex of the seas, no less) has been discovered in a cliff. We'll also get insights into how the original beast may have looked, behaved and hunted its prey; state-of-the-art CGI also brings it back to life and gives us an idea of its phenomenal size.

The Tourist

Harry and Jack Williams are back on screen with the second run of this series. In the first, Jamie Dornan took the lead role of a man with amnesia who woke up in Australia and, with help from local police officer Helen (played by the wonderful Danielle Macdonald), tried to figure out who he was and what he was doing there. We eventually discovered he was called Elliott and had a rather chequered history. Now the pair have travelled to his native Ireland, where they hope to fit the final pieces into the jigsaw. Unfortunately, not everyone is pleased to see them.

An entrepreneurial family hopes that one or more of the Dragons will fall head over heels with their sock business employing people with learning disabilities. And three lads from Liverpool are looking to impress with their second-hand luxury clothing business.

Eight-part dramatisation of Harlan Coben’s 2016 novel. The action takes place in Britain and features Michelle Keegan, Richard Armitage, Adeel Akhtar, Joanna Lumley, and Emmett J Scanlan. It focuses on a family rocked by two murders, with Keegan as the widowed mother Maya. Then she spots her supposedly dead husband Joe on her nanny cam. Meanwhile, her niece and nephew are trying to find out more about their mother’s untimely death several months ago — could the two cases be linked?

The Menu

Comedy horror movie. Nicholas Hoult and Anya Taylor-Joy play foodie Tyler and his date, Margot, who travel by boat to the island where celebrity chef Julian Slowik runs an exclusive restaurant. Several other wealthy guests are in attendance, and after a tour of the site, they sit down for dinner. Uncomfortable truths about each of them are soon revealed during a meal they will never forget — if they live to tell the tale. Ralph Fiennes plays Slowik, while the supporting cast includes Janet McTeer and John Leguizamo.

Dark action comedy. Bruce (Sam Song Li) is an ordinary Californian having an unremarkable existence until his brother Charles Sun (Justin Chien) re-enters his life while on a visit from Taiwan.
