Survival of the Thickest

It’s the third and final season of this comedy series based on a book of essays by performer Michelle Buteau. Buteau plays Mavis Beaumont, a Black, plus-size woman navigating a world that doesn’t want her to like herself. But Mavis is determined to make it as a stylist and designer. If you want some body-positive comedy, do check this out – Buteau herself says this season will “be lived in, lived out loud, we’ll tie up and let it loose, honey!”.

Ever wondered what the life of Elle Woods from the film Legally Blonde was like before the iconic 2000s film?

Well wonder no more, as this new prequel series follows Woods in high school and explores the life experiences that shaped her.

Lexi Minetree plays Elle, with Reese Witherspoon – who played Elle in the movie – as an executive producer.

Notably, the cast also includes actor James Van Der Beek, who died earlier this year.
