Rapper Playboi Carti cancels Sunday's gig at 3Arena in Dublin

US rapper Playboi Carti has cancelled the European leg of his tour, which was due to kick off in Dublin’s 3Arena on Sunday.
The 27-year-old was set to take his Antagonist tour to London, Manchester, Amsterdam and more but cancelled the European leg just days before the first gig in Dublin.
According to the MCD website, the Dublin tour date has been postponed while a statement released through US media said: “Playboi Carti UK and Europe dates rescheduled”.

Irish fans due to see the rapper in the 3Arena on Sunday received a message from Ticketmaster on Thursday evening to say that the concert had been rescheduled.
“The event organisers have been in touch to let us know that the show on 19 November 2023 has been rescheduled and will no longer be taking place on this date,” it read.
“The event organisers are working hard to arrange a new date and as soon as we get any update on this, we’ll be in touch to let you know. Your tickets will still be valid for this date.”
At the time of writing, Playboi Carti — whose real name is Jordan Carter — has yet to comment on the decision to cancel his European dates and no reason has been provided for the cancellation.
While tickets will still be valid for a new date, fans are also entitled to a seek a refund from Ticketmaster.
Playboi Carti last played in Ireland at Longitude in 2022.
